The staff was loyal and the location was fantastic. We stayed for 3 nights here, loved Ballsbridge district. We booked this room for € 132. Plus, free Wi-Fi was available. It was a wonderful experience in a great hotel.

Beautiful owners. Anne's hostess is humorous, positive, open, hospitable and funny... We were on a connecting flight from Amsterdam before we could catch our evening flight to Dublin. I called the hotel and told the owners we'd be there in the morning. I booked through Buckingham, it was impossible to cancel one night. At the end of the trip, Anne offered to spend the night with them as compensation before returning home. It was unexpected and great. Anne, thank you! thank you. It's green, quiet, quiet, with water and walking/running paths nearby. house is old, with squeaky floors, be ready to hear them in the morning at the neighborhood). All clean, Everthing clean, discreet and homely. There's complimentary water every day. On arrival, you are welcomed with freshly brewed tea with milk and homemade cookies... Separate breakfast: in our 7 days and 4 hotels in Ireland it was the best. Incredibly delicious yogurt, fresh strawberries and blueberries, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastries, tea and coffee, different eggs, porridge, pancakes. It's all in a lovely hall overlooking the garden. There are tables and benches in the garden. If you're lucky with the weather, book and tea will be great companions... hotel is conveniently located: 7 min walk to the railway station, will take you to the city center in 4 stops. Electricians walk frequently and are an in-city mode of transport. Taxi to the airport goes 20-25 minutes, price is 30-35 euros. If I go back to Dublin, Nice hotel. It's a great place.

All the moments associated with settlement, eviction, friendly staff and staffed rooms - great. Simple, quick, friendly. Breakfast is very good - classic Irish and several other options to choose from. There are fruits. Location's a bit of a bust, but I knew it and planned it. Next to the waterfront, there's a subway station (Dart?), so you can get to the centre for a modest 2.5 euros.
You fall asleep and wake up to the time of your noisiest neighbor. I was put up on the second floor (it's called the first floor by the locals), there was another floor above me. Half of the neighbors at the top and next to me squeak at every step so that it is unthinkable to fall asleep... With falling asleep a little better - the neighbors were at the age and went to bed about 10 pm, but only if someone gets up at night - he will be the whole district. The first morning, the neighbors woke up at 5 a.m. I did the same (not on purpose)... The interiors are all old, shabby, but clean.

We like to stay in small hotels. And this time the hotel was just such a cozy, homely, with a live fireplace and a beautiful dining room. It is conveniently located in a quiet and peaceful area. Away from the noisy pubs and close to the stops. But you can also walk to the center if you like to walk and the weather allows. Rooms are warm (read reviews that Ireland is cold in hotels and very worried). The water is hot too, not warm. Unusual for us separate taps, but in the soul of the usual watering can, so no inconvenience. Breakfasts are very tasty, continental or traditional Irish. Lots of baked goods and fresh fruit and berries. From the lounge-dining room, where breakfast takes place, a beautiful view of the small garden. The staff are friendly, all questions are answered and upon arrival they are given a map and printout with the nearest public transport stops and places for a tasty snack.

Very warm reception from owner, with helpful tips on travel, restaurants etc.. Ideal for travel to centre of town.Very pleasant large rooms.

The staff was very accommodating and the facilities were comfortable and elegant. This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. I will most definitely return if I am ever in Dublin again!
-
Very pleasant home on grand street in great location on the outskirts of Dublin. Enclosed formal backyard with tables for breakfast outdoors. 10 minute walk to Dublin Bay, two town areas 10 min wak for dining, very pleasant breakfast with hot choices and buffet items. Will serve dinner if requested. Two sports clubs with large fields and active youth and adult teams in neighborhood (rugby, soccer, cricket, hockey, and bowling). 5 minute walk to dart stop, 10 mins cab ride to city center. Highly personal staff seemed to accomodate everyone's needs well. I was on business but there were holiday travellers and couples as well.

Sense of hospitality and that employees at the hotel were happy to help.
-
Excellent small private hotel, not many whistles and bells however if you are looking for a comfortable well run anti-dote to the faceless Hiltons of this world then stay at the Aberdeen Lodge.
